“Stethoscope Project” - HELP UWI STUDENTS IN NEED!
The UWIAA Florida Chapter is leading the other international UWIAA Chapters (New York, Washington DC, Toronto and the United Kingdom) in this thrust and they are inviting all alumni to support. So, no matter which Chapter you are a member of, or which country you are in - contribute today!
Donate via the AFUWI link and my office will work through the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences to get the stethoscopes purchased in Jamaica at the special discounted price that is being afforded to the MBBS/DDS Class of 2028 members.
Here are the details:
1.Twenty-five (25) students require a Cardiophon 2.0 Stethoscope to begin the next academic year, starting June 30th, 2025.
2. The cost of each Cardiophon 2.0 Stethoscope is $25,415 JMD (USD 162.00).
3. This model is provided by DMS- Dentistry and Medical Supplies, a local supplier, and its CEO, Mr. Shawn Morgan, who is a UWI graduate, has graciously agreed to support this initiative for the MBBS/DDS Class of 2028 by offering each stethoscope at this discounted price above. If ALL of us give just a minimum of US$5.00, we can make this happen! Please don't delay - donate NOW at:

Also – when making your credit card donation, the 'Country of Origin' will automatically show the country you are donating from.
