The One UWI Responsible Futures Programme (OURFP): celebrating Sustainability and Resilience

The Regional Director of the One UWI Responsible Futures Programme (Celia Davidson Francis) is happy to report that as at March 7, 2025, The UWI was #8 on the Leaderboard for the "2025 Teach In"! An excellent start for our first ever participation in the month long Teach In, which also marks the official start of the phased integration of Sustainability and the UN SDGs into The UWI’s academic curriculum. 

This marks Phase 2 of the One UWI Responsible Futures Programme. (Phase 1 was the phased integration of Sustainability and the UN SDGs into the co-curricular activities - UWI Cave Hill led that thrust). Kudos to all UWI educators who have signed up and we encourage many others to take part in the final two weeks. We have invited our lecturers to help us to stay on the Leaderboard in this friendly competition and importantly, to equip our students (our future alumni) to lead and thrive in our climate-change impacted world.

So far the Global Campus and Cave Hill are leading in this effort!
