"One UWI, One Alumni Family" 

The YAA Global Board (YGB) is powered by the Alumni Ambassadors of the UWI STAT Corps. This board is positioned to provide strategic oversight and sustained guidance to ensure the ongoing excellence and impact of the UWI STAT Corps as a premier student leadership body. The YGB will play a pivotal role in securing the long-term sustainability of the UWI STAT Corps, collaborating closely with Campus Alumni Officers to provide enhanced support. As UWI STAT Ambassadors now also lead the student community within the One UWI Responsible Futures Programme, the YGB will extend its support to this significant initiative as well.

The YGB will assist all Alumni Ambassadors, who represent a professional cadre of YAA members, to continue to provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to student Ambassadors. By raising the global visibility of both the UWI STAT and YAA, the YGB will foster valuable networking, camaraderie, and representation opportunities on UWI Boards and Committees, enriching both campuses and the University as a whole. 

The YGB will interact with the Campus Alumni Officers, the UWI Chancellor, as the Head of The UWI Alumni Association, and with the Vice-Chancellor Beckles, as Champion of the UWI STAT Corps as well as many other members of the UWI community across the UWI campuses. The YGB is committed to advancing the Mission of the UWI STAT Corps and supporting their Alma Mater.
