About  Global UWI Alumni Day

This special DAY was introduced by Celia Davidson Francis, Director of Alumni Relations to celebrate, recognise and appreciate UWI graduates who through their professional accomplishments contribute to the Caribbean region and the world in many spheres and at many levels; and also play a major role in enhancing the University’s reputation. The 2021 inaugural event, held on June 26, 2021, was entirely virtual, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and was extremely positively received. UWI graduates contribute professionally and personally, to build the Caribbean region, and many have also impacted the world – so this annual day celebrates them all.
